Introduction

The Sheerness Pool was reopened in May 2005 following a large refurbishment. It consists a 25m gala tank, and 20m teaching pool.

Here are some safety guidelines for your information.

All children under the age of 8 must be accompanied in the water by an adult (16 years or over). This rule operates on a 2:1 ratio.

Children under the age of 4 must be accompanied by an adult on a 1:1 bases except within the Teaching Pool whereby we operate a 2:1 ratio, please see pool timetable for further details.

Babies and toddlers must wear protective nappies in the water. These are available to purchase from reception.

Parents are advised to ensure that babies are fully inoculated prior to using a public swimming pool.
