Centre Membership and Concession Policy

The Swale Contract which incorporates the Swallows Leisure Centre and The Sheppey Leisure complex has a ‘Centre Membership’ scheme which for a small annual payment gives you FREE admission into the centre.

Admission would normally cost: Adult £1.05 
Child/OAP 0.55p
Each time you used the facility as a non member.

As a Centre Member the following Benefits, Rules and Conditions apply:

• Free Entry to both Swallows LC and Sheppey LC.
• Bookings of facilities can be made in person or by telephone up to 7 days in advance. Payment must be made before you play.
• Failure to honour a booking without a minimum of 24hrs notice, will result in payment of the full charge for the facility.
• Persistent failure to honour bookings will result in termination of membership without refund.
• Membership cards must be produced on each visit or admission fee will be charged.
• Membership is non transferable and can only be used by the person to whom they are issued.
• The conditions of use and rules of admission and entry shall apply to all users at all times.
• Any member loosing their card must apply for a new one.  A small charge will apply for the replacement.
• The management reserve the right to refuse admission and terminate membership without refund, should the need arise.
• Serco Leisure and Swale  Borough Council may wish to inform you from time to time of special promotions or benefits.

The annual cost of the Centre Memberships are as follows:

Adult	20+	£20.00
Junior	3 – 15	£10.00
	16 – 19	FREE
Family	(2 adults and 2 children)	£30.00
Concessionary		FREE

   
The concessionary membership categories are as follows:

• People with Disabilities
• Incapacity Benefit
• Young people on youth training schemes
• Rehabilitation – a letter of referral from a Health Professional
• Low income benefits
• Income Support
• Working Tax credit

Please note that Child Tax credit is NOT a category that is entitled to a concessionary membership.

Proof of eligibility will always be required.
